Interesting. Stun it long enough to get pics. Best guess estimate length of disorientation with CS?

Yes, XREP is for people, but who is to say they aren't our closest relatives, right? It certainly immobilizes people shot from a good distance.

Law enforcement can purchase CS shells so it's not that difficult to obtain.

Actually civilians can get them as well.

BF would be 200 yards the other direction in no time flat if you threw one of these CS grenades his direction.

Get video of that then. Subject doing something superhuman is just the ticket.

In a perfect world which will never happen anyway, trip activated delivery from a canister (if you could somehow channelize them or if you knew their avenue of approach) or M203/40mm, Good luck on that latter especially. If you could manage that may as well pop HEDP and be done with it.

High Explosive Dual Purpose, another type of M203 round, but I say that in jest.

GEO- "Improvise, adapt and overcome"....up until the moment your torn to shreds right. Reload and good luck.

Seriously Sommersby,

If you actually have an idea about where they will be you have two real choices for possibly obtaining evidence non-lethally.

1. You can attempt the covert approach by locating yourself inside a suitable hide in a prime location, have the patience of a stone and keep movement and noise to a minimum sniper style. It is highly likely they will know you are there and you may be approached in an attempt to get you to leave since they will not take kindly to your tactics. They mastered them and they know the purpose. You may need some clean drawers by the time it's over but you will have something remarkable if not definitive to share and build on.

2. Just go to the area prepared to stay for awhile, act like a regular camper and do what campers do. Cook some chow, hike around, play some relaxing music and keep your cameras close. If they make themselves known and don't appear to be acting aggressive stick it out for as long as you feel you can safely do so and see what you come away with.
