Guest DWA Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I think you misunderstood Inc. I believe he was saying that 5 mins with either author would not be riveting television, but please continue to believe there is an evil conspiracy theory rather than admit that fact. So in answer to my question, what is so fascinating and new out of BF lately that should have been covered by main stream news, and the best you have to offer is 5 mins with Meldrum or Bindernagel? This? This is the great sin that the main stream media has committed of late? Pretty weak. No it isn't, but you may persist in your beliefs, uninformed by evidence though they may be. I'd want to have come further in my time here. But that is just me.
Guest Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 If what I am saying is fantasy, what does that imply? Yes, honesty is important, in and out of the military, but there is a reason why it is more important in the military. It is simple. When things are really bad, you cannot make someone do the right thing. If they do not do what they say they will do, they are unreliable. Unreliable is worthless.
dmaker Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) For Pity's sake DWA, I've informed myself plenty with the evidence. I just don't share your conclusion. That is possible, you know? Contrary to your opinion of yourself and your publicly stated reason for being here, I don't feel, and never have, particularly "educated" by you. Sorry dude. If what I am saying is fantasy, what does that imply? That you are mistaken? Saw something else? Are a victim of a hoax? Edited June 24, 2013 by dmaker
Guest DWA Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 No you haven't. But you may persist etc. I don't have to explain my position to you or anyone else here.
dmaker Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I've never asked you to explain why you're here. You offer it unsolicited. I couldn't care less why anyone chooses to come here. I don't think this forum is meant to be a Believers Only club, so as long as rules are followed, I assume all are welcome.
Guest LarryP Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) My question is an extremely simple one, dmaker. You have clearly stated inumerable times that you are convinced without question that you absolutely positively do not believe that BF exists. And I'm quite sure that everyone here understands that is your belief. So why do you keep spending your time repeating that belief here on the BFF over and over again? FYI- I am not challenging your right to do so, As I am not a Moderator here on this forum. But you never really have supplied a good answer to that question. Maybe that's because there really isn't a "good" answer to that question? Key word being "good". Edited June 24, 2013 by LarryP PLEASE don't quote the post directly preceeding!
dmaker Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 (edited) I've told you what you can do Larry. Avail yourself of those options or stop asking me the same thing. I am hardly going to bother giving you a straight answer to your question when you are so obviously fishing for something so that you can continue to pick a fight with me. I'm sorry if you find my comments on my motivations in the past to be not good enough for you. Excuse me while I try to care about that... If you truly want to pursue this question, please feel free to PM me. I do not wish to make this the focus of the thread and have tempers rise even further and end up in warning point ugliness and extra work for the moderators. So either PM me with a serious inquiry, or please drop it here right now. Edited June 24, 2013 by dmaker
See-Te-Cah NC Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Moderator Statement: Oh, brother - You guys know better than this. Anyone is free to come to the BFF, regardless of their stance on the subject matter, which seems to have become woefully lost within this topic. The forum staff, or "moderators," do not question the reason as to why a member is here. Never have. The membership shouldn't do so, either. I also fail to see what the Snowden situation has to do with Suspicious Activity Around The House. Cease the discussion of why members are here and other off-topic subject matter directed at other members immediately, and do not discuss reasons for the presence of a member on the forum or insinuate that they should leave or not be here. . You've been warned. Surely this crowd should know how to hit the report button if they're as smart as they think they are, wouldn't you think?
Guest Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Aww DANG! I had such a great response to Larry P's question....shucks. I think instead I will quietly question myself as to why I am here? Oh well......the big Chief has spoken.
Guest Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Leaf Talker can you tell me where you live in relation to the area you think the sas came from? Is it connected by green belts, farms rivers or ? Maybe you could point us to google maps, I dont expect you to give your address but the general area or city.Is it rural or suburbia?. I would like to see if I could find aroute without roads. Thanks
Guest Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Heres new vid from TGBF, is it a coincidence(or?) that the topic of sas following people home comes up? He doesnt say how far but he insinuates it isnt close. Something has dog acting up and he takes it out to pee and sees a person? run into the trees. I thought it was relevant to this discussion. Of course its best to listen from the start but I started it right before he mentions it and his reaction is interesting to me considering he thinks they have left him gifts in the past. In his case the forest does lead up to his property... I remember one of his vids at least a year back where he woke up to howls in his yard that had him scared that the sas he had got on vid from a distance had followed him home. the consensus was a cow down the road.I will look for it. http://youtu.be/9OkiRDQODtI?t=3m

Thanks Hi, BigSlick. Sorry, I haven't been able to use my computer for a while, and I'm just seeing your post now.... I would feel uneasy disclosing the information you're looking for, but I can say that there's a lot of green space between me and them, except for the last few miles or so, which are in urban territory.
Guest Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) It isn't that uncommon a report.. around 2010 a researcher in, I think, Oregon also claimed he began to have encounters at his home several tens of miles from the research site, and didn't come across as a fruitcake..assuming you are over the hurdle Bfs are real...and mobile, ..sorry I can't recall his name just now... if I bump into I will post... it caught my attention then as his supporting evidence was typical... also the whole EP project stuff and purchase of the Tenn property (I mix up the two sites..) report that the BFs followed the original owner to new residence....only 6 miles away...now of course one has to get over the hurdle those owners were genuine... (although may have hoaxed MM...imagine..) so a sorted story at best... There is no question in my mind that they do recognize the individual...and respond according to any past history... in Almost Human, Strum points out that the baboon troop could tell the difference btw two SUV's both the same color, and only slight difference in model years. The occupants of one SUV routinely shot at the baboons the other didn't....she noted she had difficulty distinguishing the two vehicles...but the baboons could instantly and hid, or remained in the open, depending if the friend or foe.... so, seems to me BFs would have no trouble identifying a repeat guest..especially if they came with something that the BF found worth observing...or finding.. But the next question...following one home, how? How do they find them at such great distance if they don't follow them? How big is a BFs range...? I have read some who think 300 miles square.. I don't think so...but it would be a helpful piece of info... and of course, if they are telepathic that might explain it, as many feel this is how it is accomplished...! Guest Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I don't think the report is that uncommon either. When I watched the video, I felt he was trying hard to convince himself or was simply refusing to say it was BF. Possibly to avoid the question of how? I was more interested in his dog's reaction. Which I didn't feel was that over the top but then we all know our own dogs best. Or should. I guess the whining to go out and then not wanting to go out would get my attention too. I have watched two totally opposite reactions from two different dogs that was absolutely out of character for each. I am still trying to understand the why of it....
Guest DWA Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Just like people, dogs are individuals. And this report is certainly not unique in the witness's unwillingness to say what it was. "Bigfoot" has become a societal byword for "scwewy," one reason that NAWAC (www.woodape.org) has stopped using it.
