Guest thermalman
You know, Morgan Fairchild is John Galt's niece. Ahhh yes. Good ole Patsy Ann McClenny.
MIB Posted June 1, 2014 Moderator Share Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Without evidence, I'm afraid that the great majority of shooting stories are just fanciful tails. I suppose that some shooting accounts could be true, but are simply no better than any of the others without proof. Even proof of bigfoot is not evidence any particular tale is true. We know fish are real. Does that make "I caught a fish tthhhhiiiiiisssss big" true? However ... I suspect some of the stories are indeed true, for instance, I'm inclined to believe Justin Smeja's story. MIB Edited June 1, 2014 by MIB
Incorrigible1
I had a better chance with Morgan Fairchild than did Smeja with his story.
See-Te-Cah NC
Even proof of bigfoot is not evidence any particular tale is true. Maybe not, although someone that claims to have shot and killed the creature that shows up sportin' a dead one in the bed of their F-150 could be construed as evidence that particular tale is true, wouldn't you say? JDL
Back in '81 during the Bob Hope special at West Point, I had the opportunity to escort Tanya Tucker, Marie Osmond, and Brooke Shields (who was just 14 or fifteen at the time). Tucker was the nicest, present only because Glen Campbell was in the special. Took her to lunch while Campbell was rehearsing. Shields was just a nice kid, though her mother was a pain, and Osmond was a disappointment from a personality standpoint. I also got stuck with Bob Hope's dog while his wife went shopping. It was the best company.
hiflier
Hello Incorrigible1, Twenty years ago, I was married to Morgan Fairchild. No wonder she wouldn't give me the time of day. It's just a matter of time before this happens. If biggie is ten feet long, how far off the ground will the bumper be? Question for pick up experts. How far past the bumper will the foot be? If this happens, hopefully the BF will get to the right place so it can be documented and accepted as evidence. By the way, where is the right place? Will the MIB show up and take biggie and we go back to square one? Hello Incorrigible1, No wonder she wouldn't give me the time of day. "Some guys have all the luck".....Rod Stewart. Stop hanging out with BF or give your bf a bath.
hiflier
Hello georgerm, You obviously haven't seen a BF in a tub. They don't hold still, they eat the soap, they sit on the furniture wet.........YOU try it sometime if you think it's easy! And another thing, I don't care how good you think you are hiding your stash of Zagnuts they ALWAYS find them. Morgan Fairchild wouldn't have put up with that for a second. Guest
georgerm - depends on the truck. Standard long bed on most American made trucks is slightly over 8 foot long (to accommodate hauling lumber). Short bed and compact trucks can be as short as 5 feet. Most bed heights (and therefore tailgate length) are around 20 to 21 inches. So a long bed full size truck could fit a 10 foot Bigfoot with just his heels hanging off the tailgate - if you have a winch or come-along or other means to get him in there in the first place. Yep, if you're going to haul a Bigfoot out and want to keep it under wraps then you're going to need a trailer and one modified to get the body of a huge critter into it. Planning is essential. Guest keninsc
I have to say that with so many reports about Bigfoots being shot and the reactions of the people doing the shooting I have to wonder if they haven't made it all up. Some stories have only come to light years after the shooting happened. Then people worry about the legal ramifications and possibly being prosecuted, or they can't quite remember where it all took place. Sounds a little fishy to me.
