Doc Holliday
We received a report this summer where the woman claimed the creature was 20 feet tall and let footprints that were almost 4 feet long

Guest Crowlogic
I don't think anyone has any idea how tall 20' is. Even 10' is gargantuan. Here's what 10' and 12' would look like. Edited January 18, 2015 by Crowlogic
Guest
I personally just can't believe a bipedal animal over 8 or 9 ft tall exists. There just isn't a natural niche for it as far as I can tell. What is the natural advantage in the Americas that would select for such a species? If a BF has an excellent diet and has enough calories they could be taller than others who are in poor caloric environment. Good and adequat nutrition equals healthy growth. Those people/Bigfoot are often taller. The creature I saw was about 8-9 feet tall, and he was huge.
Doc Holliday
anyone Crow ? fairly condescending there ... i'd wager many here would say 20 ft is way above and beyond what most would consider believable , even for BF.... or the green giant for that matter, lol..or should I repeat "ho ho ho , green giant " Edited January 18, 2015 by Doc Holliday

AaronD
Why does every story like this have some kinda glitch in producing the evidence???? The only reason I can possibly fathom for someone not coming forth immediately with evidence in hand is that they're afraid of government silencing. I know in the few actual cases of bones being found (with the exception of the average human sized ones which conveniently remain consistent with evolution), the "authorities" are adamant about collecting everything and have threatened people who may have withheld any evidence such as bones or even photos. Of course people keep things, but going public will get them caught. But there's no mention of this in the story at hand....
SWWASAS Posted January 19, 2015 BFF Patron Share Posted January 19, 2015 All you need to do to see what happens to witnesses when height estimation is being done, is watching Finding Bigfoot. The raise your hand to show how high it was, gets out of control and even unbelievable to the Finding Bigfoot crew. Basically anything significantly taller than normal humans is so outside our experience it is hardly more than a guess. A 20 foot tall report I would want a drug test and a psychiatric report on the witness to believe anything. Meldrum mentioned the height and footprint length one time. While 5 times footprint length works may work for humans and smaller BF, in my own case it does not work. My ratio is I am 6 times my footprint size in height. So I am guessing the actual ratio is between 5 and 6 to one for height vs footprint length. He mentioned width being a better indicator of bigfoot weight. The really heavy ones have a wide foot. I would assume that some BF may have the same endocrine and other growth hormone issues that humans have so now and then produce abnormally tall and large BF. Some level of inbreeding may make genetic anomalies even more prevalent than humans. It is frustrating to me that we don't really have any good data on weight. Someone needs to bait a truck scale someplace. Even a body would not tell us much other than data about the particular individual. It may be well or poorly fed. I can't speak about having a natural niche, but since America has a plethora of wildlife, deer, birds, muskrats, opossums, skunks, groundhogs, and rats, and since I do know that these creatures exist then the BF et al must be eating wildlife, and the occasional farm animals, and some times even us. I doubt that the creatures (BF) are eating humans though I can't disprove it. It just seems a little too far fetched for my way of thinking. Just my opinion of course, but there are plenty of other "critters" that would be happy to munch on a body. Until we actually catch one and/or study them, we will never know for sure.
