Hi!

I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos on Bigfoot lately and have wanted to dig deeper through the content here on the forums. Look forward to exploring all it has to offer and drawing my own conclusions.

Hi from Canada! I've been interested in Sasquatch ever since I came across a picture of the Patterson-Gimlin film in Ripley's Believe It Or Not book in the late 2000's. I joined the forums today because I wanted to find information on a specific case that involved a sighting at a casino in Concho, Oklahoma.

Love the topic of Bigfoot.  There is a lot of evidence of them.  However elusive, hope they can be verified and protected.

Welcome.

Finding information on the disappeared video from the Lucky Star Casino is a big gamble. Supposed to have happened about 2002 at a tribal casino. Urban grease trap attracted a large animal. The grainy, black and white video was removed from the internet by the tribal casino owners. No one has come forward with a bootlegged copy. Trying to find a video would be a roll of the dice. Your best bet would be to check the website of NAWAC since they are in Oklahoma. Using grease as a bait for Sasquatch would be a crap shoot since you would draw in every bear from miles around.

Good luck.

Here is the thread of the best evidence at the time, no video will be seen at this late date.

There are a few sources of details online, but I hesitate to suggest that anymore.

Anyway, yeah, they're there and more places you don't expect.

Nice to meet everyone - been interested in this subject for a while, and discovered this forum after getting into the Sasquatch Chronicles and Monsters Among Us podcasts. I'm only familiar with Patterson-Gimlan and the Freeman footage, but definitely want to hear theories on what these creatures may be.

Hello to the administrator and all members of this very interesting forum. I just moved to Oregon this past year and have visited Mt. Hood National Forest and hiking about a few times. It seems I’ve had a strong interest in Sasquatch and it’s hominid cousins since I was a kid. I studied Anthropology in college and became fascinated with human evolution and related paleontology material. Gigantopithecus got my attention, as some schools of thought believe that Bigfoot is a biological descendant of these largest beings of the ape family. The subject of Sasquatch fits right in within the historical journeys of our early ancestors and related homonoids out of Africa.

56 years old, live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

Lifelong interest in Sasquatch started with the 1973 book "Sasquatch" by Don Hunter with René Dahinden.

Listen to many podcasts and have a decent book collection.

Always looking to learn more and hear the experiences of others.

Greetings all, I’ve been a Bigfoot enthusiast ever since I was a child.

I grew up on In Search Of, and have always had a passion for the mysterious and unsolved mysteries.
While I fully believe in Sasquatch, I’ve not had an encounter unfortunately. However I did have an encounter with the legendary “Thunderbird” while living in British Columbia.  Looking forward to being a part of the group.

I spent my younger years in the Northern part of the Ozark Mountains where I heard stories of Brush Apes but didn't really pay much attention to the subject. After spending most of the past 40 years in Washington State, I have had several experiences which other people would call bigfoot experiences.  Most of these were while alone when hunting bear or deer.  However, even after hearing Samurai Chatter, I'm not entirely convinced.

I must be a terrible big footer because I'm skeptical of even my own evidence.  LOL

They closed the runway for resurfacing and I went over with our airplanes for maintenance and servicing. Welcome, FEWCLOTHES!  Sounds like an amazing sighting you had in 1979.  Would you be willing to provide a more detailed account of what you saw?

Hey there, BElrod!  I would be curious to hear more about brush apes in the Ozarks (I'll be doing a multi-night backpacking trip in the Ozarks next week, so this is timely for me).  Also, what about the samurai chatter did you find unconvincing?

"Brush Apes" weren't really different from Sasquatch as far as I remember the stores.  However, a friend of my step-father's was on a baseball team in the 1940s which was called the Brush Apes.  So it's not a new term.  Certainly predates Momo in my recollections.

My Samurai Chatter experience bothered me because it lasted for such a long time and on consecutive nights.  On the first night I went to sleep after listening for a full hour.  Just seemed odd to me that it lasted so long.  Later, Mike Jay (over 30 years chasing bigfoot) assured me this was not nearly as unusual as I had thought. Still, I was raised in Missouri so I probably must see it to believe it.
