Hi all, I just read some of the comments from Bigfoot Forums online. Fascinated by stories of missing 411. It's best to respect every environment we're in. We've come to call it the vacation mentality. That, I'm on vacation. So, nothing bad can happen to me. We lower our defenses, just when we need to pay closer attention. Situational awareness. All that said, I'm sure being in remote wilds would put me at a distinct disadvantage. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Might just save our lives to listen up. Thank you for having me here.

Hello, My name is Greg, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing. I've been living in Weston Colorado, in a small off-grid cabin I built, with my black lab, Jasper for two years now. I have 6 acres in the forest at 8250 elevation. There are cliffs and rock formations all around, very rough terrain. I believe, there is a family of bigfoot living near me.

If you do not mind sharing, we would love to hear your thinking that there is a family near you. Feel free to put it in the sightings area.

Hi all. 39 year old bored work at home/stay at home Mom here from Texas who has been lurking for at least a year and should probably not type a new username at midnight because she misspells it. :) Have two teens, a truck driver husband and enjoy being outside for pretty much anything. Never seen Bigfoot or anything like it but one of these days (hopefully).  I was born and raised in Southern Ohio and the stories that come from that area have always fascinated me. It lead to a general love of cryptid research as I got older. And now here we are.

Yes, OH has its share of stories, and depending on where you live, TX (especially East Texas) has a great number as well.

Hello Everyone!

Very excited to find this forum. Had strange experience in the woods many years ago that i could not explain and always wondered about. Then once day recently I randomly saw a documentary style series on bigfoot, never giving the concept but belief and I was one of the many that thought Bigfoot was a singular "monster" that ran around in the woods.  Then to my surprise the things that I saw in the documentary series were much like what i experienced in the woods long ago and I am now hooked and must learn more!

I have plans to try some of my own research as well as try to learn and share with/from others. I have decent bushcraft experience and a background in technology/engineering. After seeing this series my brain began to oooze with both high tech and low tech(mechanical) tools and instruments that can help us get closer to more answers and maybe they truth.

Still i feel like i have a lot to learn, especially from the community whom with out this hard work and contribution i would have never known what my experience many years ago actually was.

Hey all, have been lurking here for a long time and decided to finally become a member.  I live in Utah and my family and I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible with snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and camping.  Northern Utah has the Uinta mountain range, an east-west spur of the Rockies which has has long history of Bigfoot activity and reports.  While I have not had a sighting, a very trusted friend had a clear mid-day sighting while hiking with his dad and brothers there and his experience has solidified the belief in me that there are Bigfoot in our local mountains.  Like many of you that are close to my age, I became fascinated with Bigfoot as a kid when I first saw the original In Search Of and Legend of Boggy Creek  in the 70's.  Looking forward to learning more from you all and hopefully I can return the favor with some of my own insight and/or knowledge.  Thanks!
