Has the jury given a verdict on the pumpkins?

Deer seem to like them.

Bears went to sleep. Elk didn’t touch them. Turkeys are all about the corn.

My experience has been that deer love to eat pumpkins. They also would pull carrots up with their teeth and leave them there over night and eat them when they dried out.

Should one stand behind a Bull Moose after it eats alfalfa?

After Halloween at the Woodlawn Park Zoo, pumpkins are offered to animals. Some animals like squash that is not in their usual food inventory.

Moose quiz: what is the large flap of tissue that hangs down under the neck?

Yeah. There were a couple of mid-winter fatal grizz maulings on the Kenai Peninsula several years ago.

He is the nicest Buck in Newport. But he doesn’t touch the one on the ranch last year.
