Well the pointed teeth:fangs description would certainly describe the damage seen on one of my portable digital sound recorders......but that sure is creepy and I sorta of hope they are wrong about that.

The interview with Mary Green posted here also mentions fangs. (In fact I've been pondering whether that 10 best bigfoot videos youtube video with the description of the Erickson video at the end might have been "hoaxed" by someone who read the Mary Green interview).

As serious as irrefutable evidence would be, all I can think is ,how long will it take the National & State park system to have that 6hr employee training on Bigfoot Fever? Otherwise known as "Panic in our Parks"? LOL!!!! Will they charge higher fees in the PNW? For the potential of sightings?

Can you imagine the face on the guy/gal who has to write the presentation?

Yes, she was talking eye or canine teeth as fang-like though, the same reference says the rest of the teeth were human-like. That is very reassuring somehow.

You put an interesting perspective on this. I could definitely see state/national parks charging an additional fee for the chance to view the Sasquatch. They might just market the hell outta this! Haha.

So apparently the Erickson project has pretty good footage of an adult male Sasquatch. It got me thinking...this might be an awkward though...but if the footage is in high enough detail to make out male genitalia would that prove it to be legitimate? There are certain things you can't make to look real no matter what kind of technology is being used...

Just a strange thought I had... very strange...haha

Let the Wookie win.

If Erickson has wookiee footage, he needs to hire this person to for their call blasting capabilities!

I'm with you Bipedalist. The fang thing is very creepy and I do hope it is not true.

I almost wonder if park attendance in more remote areas will decline because of fear. :blob: Many people have not gone back into the woods after there encounters. Of course, it might be balanced out by those who might never have gone but want to catch a glimpse of a living legend.

We are probably getting too far ahead of ourselves but it is fun to speculate.

d b donlon (ex-blogsquatcher) has some comments on the Kentucky situation on his current blog. He was there way back when.

Link: http://dapht.blogspot.com/

His blog is metaphysical/philosophical in nature. Very little on Bigfoot. I read it regularly!

The Kentucky video piece is the 2nd one down (as of today).

I'm starting to get some bad feelings about this whole Erickson Project.

The more I read the more I am concerned that this is not going to turn out well.

Hopefully I am wrong, but time will tell.

I see $$$$$$ in the mix.

That was an interesting read(db donlon's blog). It is sad that a minority of folk who pay attention to this stuff would be targeted as an idiot to sell a DVD. Sorry, after many years , that's how it feels.

Thanks for posting that. There's some sobering (and familiar) information there:

  • The property on which the original film was made was sold to Erickson for a large sum of money.

  • The original filmmakers filmed at least four bits of film and the one mentioned by Cryptomundo sounds exactly like what Gregg described to me back in 2005; if it is the same film, that would mean that it was filmed by the property owners and not Erickson's crew.

  • The property owners also had several other bits of "evidence" including a tape of grunts and growls and of course the footprint that Stan Courtney cast.

  • The original film (which is different from the film in question here), the cast of the footprint, and the tape of grunts and growls have all been lost. It was my opinion that a detailed analysis of any one of these items would have proved that they were hoaxed. Notice I said this is my opinion, but it sure would be nice to have these items around to test them. I consider it extremely suspicious that they would have been lost. (If you had evidence of bigfoot that you thought would possibly make you money, would you lose it?) I know the first film was "accidentally" erased. I do not know what became of the taped sounds or the footprint cast.

So, hypothetically of course, Erickson has no "new" information and may have reached out to all of these other researchers to form a collaborative effort in hopes that the combined presentation will be enough to solicit outside interest. He presents it in a DVD format for sale so even if it falls short, there is money to be had.
