My buddy Griff fishing with me on Hazel Creek Lake, north of Kirksville, MO. No boogers there, just good times and good company. Trees, found by my brother-in-law, that were twisted and shoved down, the next morning near their campsite on the back of our farm in Alabama. There had been no storm or wind. Morning view across Monument Valley, AZ, April 2010. Petroglyph at Monument Valley. Big copperhead found on outing near Carnegie, Oklahoma. Can you see it??? Copperhead revealed. Big - REALLY big - "X" formation found in DeKalb County, Alabama. We examined this carefully and couldn't see how this could have been made by nature, but I've never seen another one this large that I thought was made by boogers. Until you outlined it, I didn't see the skin pattern at all, though that camo pattern is quite similar to the timber rattlers on the dry side of BC's mountains. Handsome fishing buddy you have there, too. My wife and I raised German Shepherds, and Dutch Sheepdogs for about 20 years, until we both developed allergies, and had to give it up. BigSlick, it would be great if you could get the lady's story, and post it here, as well as at Sasquatch British Columbia, Sasquatch-BC - Forum You should find some sightings on that site for that general area (Princeton, Manning Park, Ashnola Valley), though I don't recall any right at Placer Lake. The only stories I have for the Lake, involve finding a Bighorn skeleton, one of only 3 wildlife skeletons that I've ever found, in 50 years of outdoor recreation, and a ghost story from a camping buddy's wife, who encountered an Indian woman, dressed in the style of 1890/1900, crying at the NW corner of the lake, sobbing about the loss of her little girl in the lake, then disappearing like smoke. Oddly enough, I had walked that same trail an hour earlier, and felt a very eerie chill in the same spot. Guest Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Here are just a few I have. I do have more though The footprints were long & slender, looked to be juvenile to me. The pictures do not do the prints justice either. They were deep, and a male friend who was with us tried to make a print in the soft ground & couldn't. The Mountain Fork can take Jon boat but the creek could be tough navigating in spots, I have only seen bits of the creek so not shure. Guest thermalman Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 These are pictures from our back yard, where we have heard it howl twice LOUD and CLEAR in May. Then in August, one of our camp-mates saw it watching us. We weren't paying attention to her when she was trying to tell us. She thought that we were playing a joke on her when we all walked away from the campsite and into the field to look at the Milky Way. She drew a picture of her impressions of it a few days later when she found out that we were serious about BF hanging around our place. She was not a BF person before that, and hopes to never see it again. One of these pictures was taken a week later at dusk, just so you could get an idea of where it was standing in the iron weed with the fog rolling in. She saw it at night. The BFRO report is pending, so hopefully you will be able to read the official report soon. The other picture is of a fabulous sun set that I caught here one night. That's a beautiful sunset, Hammer! And isn't it remarkable how much the subject in your drawing looks like the Brown's thermal? Someone should be along soon to inform you that it's a cow. The "levitating cow" SF speaks of? Guest Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Hey your welcome, this area is in the Ouachita National Forest and free and clear with no fees primitive camp area called Panther Creek . Launch your floating vessel, I am sure there are plenty of native smallmouth bass plus big catfish and other things. This river area is primitive camp area and not any official research location of ours. They area is so big and any of it could have activity at anytime. To the South along US 259 you will find much tourist amenities at Beavers bend and Hochatown they do trout fly fishing at times along this river in the Beavers Bend Park and of course Broken Bow Lake is gorgeous. Guest Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Here is an interesting arrangement of branches I found in the woods near The Ice Age trail in the location of this report from a few years earlier. The road nearby was called Troll Hill Road which is interesting. Across the road is Holy Hill with an old Catholic church. The area has much forest and deer. You could be standing in Squatchville. How did those branches get that way. Incidentally, the song that just came on is "I'm Your Boogie Man" by KC and the Sunshine Band. I think that the Bigfoot Boogie Man may have taken that deer from the guy's truck, and possibly made his mark with those branches.
