NatFoot Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Tip for anyone posting here because I see it often : if you want to get someone's attention and ensure they see your post, start to type @ and their posting name. You'll get a drop-down of all the names that start with what you type. They will then get a notification, like quoting a post, to say they've been mentioned in a thread. Just an FYI for all as I'm sure you've seen me do it. 2

This incident was simply allowed to die a quiet death by the ADFG. This happens repeatedly throughout the PNW, has happened with state, federal, and provincial government agencies, has been happening for at least a half century (show me a single peep from any agency whatsoever after the PG or Freeman films were published), and will simply continue to occur. The consistency of the silence is universal, and it is deafening.

Doug Willard on that forum has got to be a chicken farmer in SC, just sayin' They slice and dice Bobo and FB. There are many stalwart defenders of the show. Mayor had to play the foil, she did well for year one. Gave the show a 1/100 on the humanity scale which was higher than it would have been without her. Facebook is tame/lame compared to twitter I'm a chicken farmer in South Carolina. I resemble that remark....
Wolfjewel Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 @NatFoot Good Idea. Thank you for telling us. 1

Haha, sounds like you are in the clear this guy went by the moniker of Longtabber PE, claimed to be a special forces vet and physical engineer and was found to be ranching hens in the Sand Hills of SC and in trouble with local veterans groups for his false military history. His BF prowess was fairly immense too as you might imagine. Not sure if you can look him up on the wayback machine. In some old emails I actually communicated with him and may still have one. When the jig was up he got pretty communicative.

Couldn't tell if you were joking or not.

Will re-up on chickens in the spring and do it all over again. @bipedalist Found a discussion about your boy Longtabber on bullshido... http://www.bullshido.net/forums/archive/index.php/t-90453-p-7.html
bipedalist Posted January 30, 2020 BFF Patron Posted January 30, 2020 (edited) Yep, we had the wild west of bigfoot forums here at one time (I was an old moderator, great fun); expedition bigfoot is mild subterfuge compared to some of the things members experienced ten or more years ago here. He (Longtabber) left plenty of tracks once the hounds were on him for sure. It has survived when the Blue Forum of BFRO and the Stan Courtney BF forums disappeared. Kudos to current admins and managers for making it a smooth ride lately. Entertainment is one thing; stolen valor another. Edited January 30, 2020 by bipedalist
coffee2go Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Thanks to all for dissecting the last episode for me. I kept dozing off while watching it so I missed a good portion of the show. The funny thing is I wasn't even tired before it came on. I planned to watch it again on demand on my Travel Channel Go app. Now I can put it off until I have absolutely nothing else to watch. If anyone has a suggestion for a really good believable podcast about Bigfoot, let me know. I am a big fan of Josh Gates and looking forward to his new adventures next week. I think his shows on Bigfoot were much more believable and besides that he approaches things with some skepticism and a lot of humor. Maybe Dr. Mayor should team up with him to do some more of his expeditions about Bigfoot. 1 1
wiiawiwb Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 (edited) Along the episode timeline I saw things that made me scratch my head. The eyeshine incident is an example. How many times did we have to hear "Oh my God!", and they left it at that? Shouldn't they have done a recreation of the event and presented it? The next evening, have someone with two red lights stand on a chair and video tape it side-by-side to compare with the actual video from the night before until you're in the exact spot and both videos align perfectly. That way they could determine the height to the eyes and also the distance between the eyes, which looked strangely far apart. If that turned out to be 8' tall, you now have rock-solid evidence of a bigfoot. Recreations can be difficult enough when we try to do them as we have to return to the exact location which, due to our schedules, could be the next week or later. They had a crew onsite and could have done so the next night. Do you think they did a recreation? Edited January 30, 2020 by wiiawiwb
