He doesn't ow e you anyway even though I don't he has squat. By going public with the claim, you made it the concern of all of us interested in the documenting this critter once and for all. His public statement was that he's stepping down head of the O-6, it was Lidsay who vastly over assumed and stated he claimed he had a body. A simple yes or no would both clarify and diffuse. Why are you sticking up for him anyway? He may not owe anyone anything, but he brought it on himself. I would say that he does owe a clear explanation. If y'all going to say something you should stand behind it, if not - clam up. The remaining members of the group have been working diligently to get thier (sic) new organization on its feet and I’m sure they will achieve thier (sic) post capture goals and I wish them continued success. It's easy to believe that they might be in possession of a body with that statement. If Ed would stop throwing 'tude and just explain why he said what he said , there might be a better understanding. Some of you froth at the mouth trash talk every one and every thing except the culpeit (RL) Why do you think know one brings evidence of any.value to the BFF . Sorry, but I don't see how anyone could possibly see this as anything OTHER than using a blogger's sensational claims to draw attention to oneself while stopping just short of validating them. MABRC is a big topic of discussion on this board again, and not because of anything RL did or didn't post. Like many others I'm sure, this thread is the very first I heard of this "rumor". Sorry, but I don't see how anyone could possibly see this as anything OTHER than using a blogger's sensational claims to draw attention to oneself while stopping just short of validating them. +1000 This is exactly what is wrong with most people in this field of research. They are more interested in pumping up the volume on their own publicity and actually acting professional. It's very sad to see yet another group of researchers fall into this trap of blatent attention whoring by choosing drama over answering a simple question. The MABRC could have simply said ... "We have no knowledge of Ed Smith's capture operations. We do not know the results. Please direct questions to Ed." But they didn't. Very dissapointing. Curiosity is thier Achilles heal and We must learn to Seduce them with it. Ed, With your signature are you referring to Sasquatches or referring to the Bigfoot community. Perhaps if you actually put out a single bit of evidence people wouldn't be so hard on you. What's it gonna be? If you are gonna talk the talk then walk the walk. Step up please ! You are entitled to nothing. Would one of these "operations" be to post tantalizing and cryptic "information" on the BFF to stir up discussion? While I'm sure that the MABRC is a serious research organization that spends a great deal of resources for research, what I've seen in terms of posts by MABRC members on the BFF (and on the MABRC for that matter) amounts to dropping hints of great things without backing up the claims. If half of what you say you've done is real, then that's a great thing. However, if half of what you claim to have done turns out to be false or simply overstated, then I could understand the reluctance to be forthcoming. As noted so eloquently in a prior post, the first we ever knew that there was an RL rumor of a body was because someone from the MABRC chose to make a post on the BFF rather than the MABRC forum. Doesn't that strike you as odd? Why in the world would the MABRC choose to make such a statement on another forum rather than on their own forum? Could it have anything to do with the tag line on your main forum page, "The Forum that the BFF doesn't want you to know about."? Methinks you all protest way too much.... on the BFF.
