Rick Dyer Again (Continued)

I am picturing a new Casino in Las Vegas.

The Wildman Casino.

The Bigfoot body on display in the entrance.

Other evidence around the casino like footprint castings.

The Sasquatch Bar. Bigfoot Burgers, Forest salads, Frozen Yeti drinks.

It will be a hit!!

That's a good question Cath and one I don't have an answer to yet. But I really don't think the "when" is important to Dyer.

Yea but I would think if it is a Hoax. The end game and time should be soon. Because I don't think you can string it on for to long.

Even people like me who are the wait and see will just go on to the next possible evidence.

That's actually true - because to date Dyer has produced nothing to show that what he says is even the slightest bit true. Flying people in to look at the alleged body - proves nothing... I think Dyer learned from his 2008 mistake - they showed the body too soon.. So, this time around he is withholding it until the bitter end.

I agree with this.

Melissa, do you have an idea of what Dr. Meldrum's 'demands' were? Because Dr. Meldrum's validation would do it for me.

Melba Ketchum's study went on for 5 years. I am not saying its a hoax, but people in this community have some serious staying power - especially when they think their side is right. Dyer has a strong following - and these people will wait for as long as it takes. I've seen it before. If he holds out till April this will be his longest running hoax yet. Dyer thinks he is smarter than everyone else - so for him - time is not the issue. He can convince, those who think he is telling the truth, to hold out as long as possible. The longer it goes on, the more money he can make in the meantime.

How is he making money on this?

I haven't seen how he is making money at this moment besides his expeditions which really I not going to go out on an expedition with him. (He creeps me out a bit)

Hell I still want to see a Bigfoot in my area of the woods in CT. I know we have some Just haven't seen one. Of course i think I would be so scared if i did.

I don't hike with a gun just a knife walking stick and my dog.

No, I have no idea. But, knowing Dr. Meldrum - they weren't as bad as Dyer would like everyone to believe. Dr. Meldrum is in this to prove the existence of this animal - and he will meet with whomever says they have that proof. You will pay for his plane tickets, hotel costs, and a per diem (maybe) but Dr. Meldrum doesn't care who is making the claim - he cares if the claim is real and will go wherever the claim is being made (if asked). But that 5 grand number -- that is utter crap. I know what Dr. Meldrum charges and has charged in the past ----- and it aint NOTHING close to that. So, that was a bold faced lie.

I don't fault Dr. Meldrum for any of what I said above. Why should he lose money from his bank account to verify the claims of someone else? AND that's what we do. If you call yourself a "bigfoot researcher" -- you should be out there investigating stories. :)

If Dyer's part in the minnow movie is to be a hoaxer, to pull the ultimate hoax, it would be just after the premiere, which he'll zap everyone. If it is to show the body, it would be either at/after the premiere or after the science work is done. (I have a vague recollection of something being finished May 28th).

Interpret any way you wish Jacki. You asked where I get my information. It has been spelled out ad nauseum on these threads.

Well and thats the thing when it comes to this particular story. With the exception of one or two who have actually gone out and tried to research this story (Cisco was one), all of us just sit here, watching and reading on the internet what other people are actively doing in this story. We all just tap away at our keyboards with our fanciful ideas. But whether or not Rick Dyer shot a bigfoot, he WAS there in San Antonio that week actively searching for one. Whether or not Minnow have footage of a bigfoot we dont know, but they WERE there filming Rick Dyer as part of their film which they HAVE been researching for years. Whether or not Musky did see a bigfoot he DID report in detail on seeing one. There are many people in this story who are actively adding to this drama but getting out there and talking, filming, researching. How can anything that anyone of us on this thread really have a right to saying that what we say is more important than that. We are just observers. Judging the evidence and tap tap tapping on our keyboards as though we are important news agencies!

CathMcMillen - you can't excuse the fact that he is making money off expeditions. Why? Because his selling point is his alleged dead bigfoot. He is out there calling himself the "worlds greatest tracker" when he is clearly not. IF there was a bigfoot in the land locked homeless camp --- it wouldn't take a tracker of extraordinary skill to find, capture or kill this bigfoot... I think its all bunk - but nevertheless - there ya go. :)

Is it about money? Is it possible Meldrum might be asking to speak with scientists or wanting some video or physical evidence before he would go out there?

Asking because I have not heard any details

How would he loose money?

RD would have to pay for his Plane and Hotel, all the rest Meldrum can write off as business expense "For his continuing Research".

But I am sure its more that he doesn't trust RD. Which sure he like others have every right to not trust him.

You are correct he is making money off the Expeditions. Yea well I don't think he is the worlds greatest tracker and I don't think he does either. He is doing it as a Joke since he knows it will make people get all up in arms about it. I have not denied he loves the drama.

But think about this. If he did go to that homeless camp area and saw the bigfoot he was the only one who took the initiative to follow up on that 911 call.

Who knows Violet. But, why ask a Scientist to come view your "dead bigfoot" then tie his hands. If this was really all it's cracked up to be - he would have told Meldrum - "come on down and do whatever you need to do, to prove or disprove my claim." If he has a real dead bigfoot --- why would he care what Meldrum did? If I had a dead bigfoot and was asking Dr. Meldrum to get involved - I would tell him to do whatever he had to do. I would not be concerned.. Because I would already know the truth.

Also, I really am not buying into the NDA stuff anymore. The FB/FB guys allegedly showed up, viewed the body - with no NDA - knowing they write books AND have a very popular FB page. Musky had to sign one, even though he had been friends with Dyer long before he even agreed to show up and view the body and give his full support.

His April expedition is for charity, in fact I think that he likes money but he also can be generous.

Cath - much has been made about Dr. Meldrum requesting to be compensated. Apparently Dyer thought Meldrum (initially) should pay for these things himself... With Dyers record - I wouldn't.

No, not true. That story was covered extensively when it happened back in 2009. Dyer found out about the homeless camp through the media and community conversations. He was NOT the first or only researcher who investigated that 911 call.
