Guest
You talking about Paul Oliver Rockape? He was one heck of a player for UGA and I along with many Dawg fans were saddened when he killed himself.
Rockape
The football player was found stuffed under some brush. To clarify: We have no clear means to determine if this was human caused of bigfoot's work........correct? Well, as I said there was a thread about this at the time it happened and we had a long discussion about this with links to all reports, but I do not recall one ever saying he was found under a pile of brush. I thought he was found leaning against a tree. Do we have an autopsy report? Was he killed by a bigfoot that has a signature if one reads the signs? Such as bones in fore arm were crushed by some constriction force. (bigfoot grabbed his arm) Skull was fractured by a large flat object. (hand slap) Yes, there is an autopsy report. I have not seen the official report, but the coroner did release his findings and I do not recall him findning one single thing that could explain this man's death. No injuries, no trauma, no medical condition, drugs, alcohol, nothing. Was he robbed? No. He and his dad and I believe brother in law were at thier lake cabin and went their seperate ways after supper to go fishing, I believe they all had those small, one man fishing boats. And what made the reports of his having shown abnormal behavior beforehand do not add up to what was told by families and friends at the time. Now, I'm working from memory here, and I am going to try to find that Tar Pit thread today to refresh my memory and link some of the reports here. I'm a bit surprised you are not familiar with this one george. But then, I was surprised it was only discussed in the Tar Pit when it happened. All I can tell you is if you see the reports and know the full story, I think you would agree it seems like something literally scared this guy to death. Very odd this one. I'm not saying it was bigfoot, but this is one of those things that makes you wonder what the hell happened. You talking about Paul Oliver Rockape? He was one heck of a player for UGA and I along with many Dawg fans were saddened when he killed himself. You mean the young guy who showed signs of concussion damage? Could be, but I thought this guy I am referring to was from a smaller, Northeast school. I do not recall the specifics however, and there might be more than one. BobbyO Posted November 17, 2014 SSR Team Share Posted November 17, 2014 DNA collected? I get the feeling if there was, we'd be the last to hear about it anyway.
Guest
Simplyskyla – Welcome aboard to this thread and thanks for your comments. BobbyO – Your questions are timely and fair as always. Thanks for the heads up on the link too! Rock – I spent some time last week going through different threads reading but admittedly I overlooked the discussion of the Michigan Cullen Finnerty case, thank you for sharing that! Guest
Sasquatch Chronicles: Go back and read my initial comment to Bobby O’s question of the strangeness surrounding the Cullen case and think about it, then go listen to the latest episode. There was an interesting subject discussed on the latest episode of Sasquatch Chronicles which may help clear up a few things for a few and it strikes to the point of the very same topic subject matter discussed here. I listened to it after signing off last night. It’s free to listeners. When you come back here to this forum consider what you just heard. Guest
Yes exactly Bobby O - It is the episode of a LEO sharing his experience on this very topic. On Thursday November 13, 2014 I caught a brief news article of a similar claim equally as puzzling, ranking up there in strangeness along with the Cullen case and placed it here first. This time the location was Wyoming, and not a Midwestern state. Yesterday November 16, 2014 I noticed Stillwater1967 started a thread on it. The victim a female, was obviously killed by a predator or predators unnamed. Whether intentional or not, the initial report very carefully avoided implications of a human kind of predator. Bear, cougar and wolf attacks are rare to a point but are usually identified pretty fairly but, that is where this most recent story becomes mysterious and telling. Look for the “Tells.†If it’s animal, a known predator animal, not a human, and a cloak of mystery is thrown up around the details available to the public it should raise questions. You either have to consider something else or gloss over it as nothing to it at all, and in that case the story quickly fades in memory. Nothing gained, nothing lost. Point is we are seeing not imagining things of high strangeness occur in greater frequency not less. Am I saying they are Bigfoot related? No …. Everyone can read and interpret what is reported and come to their own conclusion but this a forum and I think it’s beneficial for everyone discuss the issues from very different points of view. norseman Posted November 17, 2014 Admin Share Posted November 17, 2014 There is stuff a lot stranger than the football player case in the 411 books. Bart Schleyer Dennis Martin First two that come to mind as bizarre.
georgerm
Thanks for the reply Rockape. So far I haven't been to the tar pit since there's enough strife here at times. This case is new to me. It is strange he reported something was following him. Bigfoots are known to follow people by paralleling them and that seems to be a signature. A bigfoot could easily cause a heart attack or stroke. We may never know what happened since heart attack or strokes occur naturally. The concussion issue is a long shot IMHO unless he committed suicide and the autopsy should show that. Another mystery. Bigfoot could easily scare someone to death. There is another strange report that came from Oregon, near Crater Lake during a snow storm. A young hunter was heard yelling, and his voice seemed to keep fading as he was rapidly getting farther and farther away. The report may have come from BFRO, and I will try to find it. Seems like they found him dead and miles from his original location. Edited November 17, 2014 by georgerm
Guest
I agree with your point Norse, I just feel using anyone of them as ‘more or less’ stranger than the others tends cause me to take my eye off the point that they all seem to be occurring in greater frequency. The clarion call to attention was the 411 books to my understanding, the author took the wrath of his harshest critics and maintained, his position that essentially implied and very carefully said, he never said it was connected with Bigfoot, and he didn’t… in printed word. It was what was said between the lines that was eye-opening and cleverly communicated. Again, everything presented here is for the benefit of readers to see it, not imagine it, and draw your own conclusions. Guest
The strange thing about the football guy is they pinged his cell phone, and it was moving (3 miles) in 10 minutes in heavy forested area or something like that. FBI involved in that death is a bit weird, but its an Indian Res? And feral dogs are reported to have attacked people in that area?

Guest
Good point Germ, Any medical people out there? I am not a medical worker but I can only draw on my experiences to help out. Heart stopping fright is not unreasonable especially for those with weak and preexisting conditions. I’ve think I can relate to Commotio cordis, a heart stopping low energy trauma injury, where as someone is punched in the chest or strikes his chest on steering wheel during a car crash so the idea that someone die of fright is not beyond impossible in my limited opinion. Norse, Good video and music too. Makes me tempted to run out back and burn some wood .... grab a beer and catch the sun going down. I thought I read somewhere on the forum you play guitar and sing? Is that you performing in that video? The voice is eerily similar to Gordon Lightfoot …
