Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) Morning Suzie and George, I am sorry to admit that I did not keep the report and don’t recall anything standout other than what was extracted. Short of retracing hundreds of reports I read over this past summer I cannot help you there. But, there is a good likelihood that I come across the report again the way it goes with this type of information. Much of what I read, and I was looking for and noting specific details, I discarded including full reports to conserve hard drive ( 1 terabyte) space and reduce unnecessary clutter. On the upside though, there is no doubt in my mind if you see one of those big heifers you won’t miss it …. Somebody asked for information on the Ohio report but because I didn’t keep it I will have to keep an eye open and see if I relocate it. I’ll do the same for North Carolina too. Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Thanks Gumshoe, as always you are the man to go to for information.
Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Bigfoot Extreme Size September 1991 Ashland, Kentucky The two witnesses had gone out one night in order to investigate a supposed haunted bridge in an isolated hilly area. As they looked around the area they heard rustling sounds coming from the woods about 50 yards away. They thought it was a deer so they decided to walk to a nearby abandoned barn to see what was in it. Suddenly there was loud deafening scream-roar-growl noise and they heard what sounded like heavy footsteps coming from the field adjacent to them. They then saw, running towards them, on what appeared to be somewhat on all fours, a massive creature with long shaggy hair. It stopped about 15 feet away and stood up and it had to have been at least 16 feet tall. They ran to their car and the creature apparently chased them. As they got to their car another vehicle was coming down the road, apparently scaring the creature away. They came back the next day and found some rather weird looking tracks or footprints in the field. Source: Ron Shaffner Hunters, Attack December 1995 Salamanca, New York 8:00A The three witnesses were hunting deer in the Southern Tier, when they thought they saw a bear coming out from behind a nearby tree, but the creature ran on two feet, and was making ungodly noises as it ran after the witnesses. It nearly caught up to them as they reached their truck. Before they could leave the creature smashed out the front window of the truck. They described the creature as a mix between a gorilla and a man, and with bright yellow “evil†looking eyes. Source: Western Bigfoot Society
Guest Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) Gumshoe, Why are reports like this one not already all organized in one place? If it were not for you, few to none of these sighting reports would have been read nor know about by me, and likely some of the members here may not have known about them either. I truly had not realized how many encounters have been reported over the years, nor that so many humans have been killed by BF, plus how often BF have been killed. Too bad we can't locate those bodies. You have posted a wealth of hard to locate sightings, none, by the way, which I had ever read. Gumshoe, You, sir, are the" Man of the Year in Bigfoot Encounter Reports" over the past century! Thanks to you all of these reports are now to be found in this topic, and people can read about how many encounters have occurred over the past hundred some years. Well done my friend, and hugs to you from me. This psycho went around decapitating women hikers in the forests...... http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/emotionless-hilton-describes-killing-meredith-emer/nFB9j/ Thanks thermalman for posting this information, and a plus 1 to you from me. It's sad to read about how terrible mankind can sometimes be towards other humans. Edited December 10, 2014 by SweetSusiq
Guest Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 This is all just fluff, but in the little bit that I read there have been far more attacks on humans than have been shot, and far fewer have been injured than killed if that makes sense. Taking another step, I would there were less reportable accounts of cannibalism than reports of people are being killed, and even less number of reports of successfully capturing them. I probably read about three thousand and found eight reports of successful capture.
Guest Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 May 7, 1997 Ft. Bragg, California It was reported that a Bigfoot creature in the woods attacked a group of Mexican loggers. It came screaming out of the brush and the Mexicans thought it wanted their lunch, but it threw all the food back at them. Screaming and roaring it attacked with no mercy. It threw several Mexicans over the bank and broke arms and legs. One Mexican ran for help and found a Georgia Pacific helicopter and pilot. They both went back to find the wounded Mexicans, and saw the creature running up a skid road. The pilot thought it weighed at least 500 to 800 pounds, and was approximately 8 ft. tall. Several large tracks were found. Source: The Western Bigfoot Society Newsletter#67 What's fluff? Just my personal observation based on what I read and not based any empirical scientific study.

Guest Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 What idiots! They should have just kept throwing the food back at it. Won't say their idiots, it would betray my big brown eyes but can’t say I blame him, I can’t deal with hot and spicey too much salt or cheese either. But I like Mexican food. Probably have some tonight too. I'll take another Dos Equis please .....

Thank you for all of this information. These reports are a wake up call for everyone who reads them. You are a treasure to this community.
Guest Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I have no inside knowledge or statistical basis for which to answer your question Suzi, so I am not the right person to ask. The few reports I read demonstrate to me that those killed or injured are far fewer than the number of all Bigfoots reports in comparison though.
clubbedfoot Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 If you were to kill your wife and hide the body in the Alaskan bush, why go with Bigfoot and not Griz? Or wolf? Or anything else? Cogent points...
Doc Holliday Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 What idiots! They should have just kept throwing the food back at it. maybe BF should join the US Border Patrol. 1
