Sasfooty
Whatever value they might have. Sentimental value to me, if nothing else. Guest
I may have missed this somewhere Sasfooty but why do you think they all seem to be so camera shy? Do you think it's tech in general since they've pbly no real idea that a certain device is designed to record images.
Sasfooty
I don't know why. I think they may know more than they are given credit for. The ones here figured out that I could capture their calls & replay them. Now it's almost impossible to hear one making an actual BF call, except when covered by coyotes. You could have a clean, clear pic, and it still would be criticized, that's how proof is obtained. There is a great amount of knowledge here. Guest
Because I was asked. Should I have lied? No, I like an honest person. The reason I would urge you to show them is it might get all to say "wow, that's interesting, or, that's just Unc. Buck pissing behind a tree" I'm in no way trying to dog you, just, I've seen countless posts on "I have something, but I'm not showing" attitude, that never goes well
Sasfooty
In this case, it would be uncle buck pissing in front of the tree, but I've heard that & "interesting", as well. Hasn't been going all that well, anyway. I've got used to it.

Sasfooty
Well, they could get much worse. I'm not especially worried about credibility so it doesn't matter.
masterbarber Posted November 7, 2010 Admin Share Posted November 7, 2010 WTB1, masterbarber, Incorrigible1, can we call a truce now? I promise to leave you alone if you promise to leave me alone. A truce to what? Leave me alone? Did you get the impression that you're pestering me? That's not at all the case. I got tired and went to bed, spent all day today with the family cause it was my wife's birthday.....I don't have any photos or video though..... No, I got the impression that you weren't having fun & left in a huff after changing the subject. Since there is no video, I'll just take your word for it. (See how easy that is?) Doc Holliday
Tell ya what, Slick... I have a suggestion here. Before you catch that fish or kill that buck, why don't you grab a camera, (that you hopefully have turned on & ready at all times), & snap us a picture of it alive. Then kill or catch it, & get us another one. Then we can see that you were actually hunting or fishing, & didn't just run up on something dead out there & claim to be the one that killed it. I'm sure the prey will be more than willing to give you plenty of time to get this all done properly before you finish them off. Edited to add: It would also be helpful if you had someone with you to film the actual kill or catch. Then there would be less doubt, but we would still probably have a lot of questions that would need to be answered. That doesn't sound too unreasonable, does it? I don't have many dead ones lying around, & getting a good pic would be about the equivalent of you doing this. unreasonable, hmmm.... maybe you should drop back to post 131 &read where i stated i did not think the OP really applied to you.apparently you thought it did & jumped in head first.....so much for me trying to take a lil heat off you. falsely claiming dead game/fish & taking pics??thats funny, i figure those pics would easily be debunked,w/ someone posing w/ animals half eaten, missing eyes, body parts etc.,being rotten & all.not much fresh dead stuff lying around waiting to be claimed. tv hunting & fishing shows already have plenty of video evidence of folks on film, fishing, hunting etc. for common animals anyone could go see at the right zoo & aquarium if they didnt want to get their hands dirty. Tell you what sas,as far as the pre shot /catch pics, ill start doing that when you start shooting squatches after taking their pics ....then you would have plenty of dead ones lying around to take pictures of, and all this wheel spinning could stop. Sasfooty
Except that you were comparing getting pics of dead fish & game to getting one of a live bigfoot that has no intention of letting it happen. Yeah, it is funny isn't it? Except it gets old after awhile. Being familiar with hunting & fishing, I know how ridiculous that post about the before & after pics was. It was intended to be, to illustrate how ridiculous some of the questions & suggestions that I get sound. If you haven't tried to get a pic of one, you really shouldn't criticize the efforts of someone that has. Someone (not meaning you necessarily) who has not lived their entire life close to nature, cannot possibly have much understanding of how it works. I'm not talking about going out camping a week or two for summer vacation. I'm talking about living your life there & being part of it. About understanding how all the animals & birds communicate with each other & watch each other for signs of danger, or where a meal might be found. It's all intertwined, it all meshes together, & nothing happens that every bird & animal nearby doesn't notice & communicate to each other about; maybe not consciously, but the result is the same. Bigfoot is part of all that, & are the most intelligent beings there. They see & know every detail of what is going on around them. They understand the slightest thing that isn't normal, & they investigate it thoroughly before it has any chance of doing them harm. They watch a bird flying toward a tree in a thicket, & observe it's reaction, whether it lands there & remains in the tree, or whether it suddenly swerves away, because of something there that frightened it. People hiding in thickets with cameras frighten birds, & bigfoot sees. They aren't big, clumsy, bumbling animals that wander around in a daze, offering unlimited opportunities for someone to focus a video camera on them & film to their heart's content. It is just as ridiculous to think I can just waltz out & get an easy picture as what I suggested you do about the fish. People need to get a clue before they brag about what they would do if they had my unlimited opportunities. (Again, this is not all directed at you. Only the part that applies.) Incorrigible1
They aren't big, clumsy, bumbling animals that wander around in a daze, offering unlimited opportunities for someone to focus a video camera on them & film to their heart's content. There's a reason they remain uncatalogued. No one has suggested they're bumbling nor clumsy. No one. You're either imagining or exaggerating. Because they are elusive, secretive, clandestine, and uncatalogued creatures you've been asked whether you're able to provide the bare minimum of evidence to back your fantastic claims. You've backtracked and made excuses every step you took, on this forum, after making your rather unbelievable claims. You've claimed persecution and bleated how beleaguered and set upon you've been since making your claims. You're unable or unwilling to provide a single photograph, besides your avatar, taken 17' off the ground and presented 180 degrees from upright. You've collected and preened a willing contingent of hangers-on and excuse-makers, equally claiming you've been persecuted. Give it a rest, already, or at least try to take a simple photograph. Hell, we have photos of Abraham Lincoln, but you're unwilling/unable to provide such. I've grown weary of wondering how it is you're so inept. But you take every opportunity to claim you've been set upon even as you continue to make extraordinary claims, and gather a following of amazingly docile wool-bearers. Snap a photo, already!
